Isn’t everything?
Kidding.
My name is Keith Troop. I was born in S. Florida and I don’t like to talk about myself.
Okay, fine. I’m a published poet and I’ve had the occasional inspirational article published. I’ve written a ton of other things, but they haven’t been published yet. I gave my heart to Jesus when I was four and I have been trying to get it back from Him ever since, though it appears He has no intention of letting go.
I am a vast repository of knowledge concerning how not to do things in life and how God fixes things in spite of our best efforts. A lot of that will come out here.
I’m half Jewish, but it’s on my father’s side, so it only counts during persecutions and the first part of Chanukah. I refer to this condition as being a Semi-Semite. There are many of us and we are uniting, we just don’t know what for.
I am an only child although I was raised by my grandmother so I’m also the youngest of seven children. One of which was my mother. Now you know why I don’t like to talk about myself. It’s confusing even to me and I lived it.
Fortunately, I can clarify with this statement. I am a chosen child of a living God, loved from before the beginning of time and called to be both His and a part of Him simultaneously. I probably should have led with that.
