If you can see them, they aren’t ninjas.
If a short person comes to your door at Halloween and declares that they are a Ninja and you should give them candy, they aren’t Ninjas and their parents get very upset when you say you are a samurai and chase their children with a sword. The fact that they dressed their children this way and it is really the parents fault will not placate them or the police.
I once saw a man in new York City who was holding a sign that read “ninjas killed my family, need money for karate lessons. I found this very amusing and gave him 5 bucks. Which I’m sure he spent on alcohol.
At least he was providing a service.
